It is foreseeable that many of the technological innovations being developed today will find applications in the senior living and health sectors. While novel technologies have the potential to increase the quality of resident experience, resident and staff safety, and efficiency of operations, careful consideration must be given to their deployment, in connection with operating in a highly regulated space providing services and care to vulnerable populations. This presentation aims to provide some practical considerations and risk mitigation strategies to homes that are thinking about deploying novel technologies in their operations.
