In healthcare, Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) is essential for ensuring a safe environment. While acute care settings have embraced IPAC principles in home design, the long-term care sector has been slower to prioritize these investments within budget constraints. Our IPAC team has developed a strategic framework to help LTC homes integrate IPAC principles into construction, renovation, maintenance, and design, addressing the challenges of balancing benefits with limited funding.
