Name
Wrongdoing by Registered Staff: Implications for Long-Term Care and Retirement Home Operators
Description

Operators and their leadership team reasonably regard their registered staff as professionals who will uphold relevant standards of practice for their professions, follow the home’s policies and abide by the law. However, this is not always the case. Sometimes, registered staff commit wrongdoing which can have serious consequences not only for them, but also for licensees and their leadership team. Please join the lawyers from Torkin Manes who will share their experiences in dealing with cases involving unlawful conduct by registered staff including theft of resident personal information, falsification of records, identity fraud and other examples of professional misconduct.
