It All Comes Down to Relationships: The Art of Contemporary Regulation
Description
Regulations have long been used to protect the public interest by managing risks in various sectors of society. Traditionally, at times this has created tension between regulators and those being regulated. However, over the past 20 years, there has been a shift towards a more collaborative approach to regulation, focusing on building positive relationships and working together to reduce risks. In this session, we’ll explore the journey of regulatory bodies toward a more relational approach, discussing both the challenges and opportunities that come with it, and what the future of regulation might look like.
