Wendy is Director, Clinical Services for peopleCare Communities with over twenty years of nursing experience in seniors living. A respected and valued Registered Nurse and leader within the peopleCare team for over a decade, Wendy is known for her passion for clinical best practices, leading high-functioning teams and enhancing person-centered care. As Director, Clinical Services, Wendy oversees clinical programs and plays a key role in developing and delivering programs that are evidence-based, resident focused, and meaningful. Most recently, Wendy successfully led the implementation of RNAO Clinical Pathways in all peopleCare Homes. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University as well as a Registered Practical Diploma from Conestoga College. She also completed the Long-Term Care Management Certificate through the Canadian Healthcare Association and is RAI-MDS Credentialed.
