Emma Harding-Howell is a Risk and Emergency Preparedness Consultant on the Corporate Quality and Risk team at Extendicare, a leading provider of long-term care services. Emma began her career as an Office Manager in a LTC facility, where she took on roles in education and emergency preparedness. Moving to a corporate Accreditation role, she helped guide the organization through the rigorous accreditation process efforts before transitioning into risk management with a focus on emergency preparedness.
Emma holds an BA, Associate Health Care Business Continuity Professional (AHCBP) Certificate and a Lean Green Belt Certificate. Her non-clinical perspective on risk management is invaluable in enhancing the safety and resilience of Extendicare’s facilities. With a passion for enhancing organizational resilience and safeguarding the well-being of both residents and staff, Emma works to ensure that the organization is prepared for emergencies, minimizing disruptions while maintaining high standards of care for residents.
