Lynn Munari is the National Resident Safety Lead at Extendicare (Canada) Inc., where she plays a key role in advancing resident safety across the organization. With over 10 years of experience in long-term care (LTC), Lynn has been rooted in improving the quality of care for older adults. Lynn has held various nursing leadership roles and specialized in resident safety, incident analysis, and nursing practice standards.
Lynn joined Extendicare in 2021 as an LTC Consultant, where she supported homes with nursing care practices and resident safety incident processes. She has recently completed the LEAP (2022) and ISMP’s - Incident Analysis for LTC program (2022). Lynn’s leadership skills were honed through her completion of OAHNSS’s Administrator Leadership Program and her master’s in nursing with a leadership focus. In 2023, Lynn became the National Resident Safety Lead, where she currently drives improvements in safety standards and resident care across the organization.
