Cathy Hecimovich is a respected healthcare CEO with more than 20 years of executive level experience. Cathy was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA) in 2018.
Cathy brings to ORCA her extensive experience in health care deliver and has developed many strong relationships across sectors and within government. She actively engages with many provincial-level committees and Boards, bringing her leadership and governance expertise to the table.
Cathy holds both a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy and a Masters in Education. She is also an Assistant Professor at McMaster University with the DeGroote School of Business and the School of Rehabilitation Sciences. Cathy is a graduate of the Advanced Healthcare Leadership Program through the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and is a Certified Healthcare Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
