Last year at Together We Care, peopleCare Communities and Skinopathy announced the launch of an Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization (OBIO)-supported AI wound care study. This year, they return to share the results. The session will describe how AI-supported wound assessment was integrated into a nurse’s daily workflow and how the technology performed in terms of accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and clinical usefulness—including wound measurement, documentation, and product recommendations. Attendees will learn how the study advanced understanding of AI-enabled wound care and why these findings are meaningful for long-term care homes.
