Clues, Causes & Care: An Innovative Resource For Responsive Behaviours
Description
This workshop will introduce Behavioural Supports Ontario’s new “Clues, Causes & Care to Consider for Responsive Behaviours”, a 150+ page evidence-informed, person-centred resource designed for those supporting older adults with responsive behaviours. Participants will learn how their team can apply the resource effectively in practice, particularly during behavioural assessments when identifying unmet needs and when developing plans of care focused on non-pharmacological strategies to prevent, decrease and respond to responsive behaviours. Leave this workshop equipped with actionable next-steps unique to your care setting.
