Denis O’Donnell is the Director ofClinical Excellence at CareRx where he provides leadership in the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of clinical and quality improvement activities across regions. In addition to his work at CareRx, Denis volunteers as a member of the advisory board for OPEN (the Ontario Pharmacy Evidence Network).a multi-institutional network of researchers and knowledge users dedicated to improving health and the healthcare system through better medication management. Denis also volunteers with the Safe Assured Research Group (based out of Dalhousie University), collaborating with community pharmacies across Canada to improve medication safety. In 2014, Denis was the recipient of the Teva Canada Award of Excellence in Senior Care Pharmacy recognizing his tireless dedication to improving medication management in seniors across Canada.
