Farah Faisal is Managing Director at Building Ontario Fund (BOF), where she leads investments in priority infrastructure sectors, with a focus on long term care (LTC) and social infrastructure financing. In this role, she oversees transaction origination, structuring, diligence, and execution, partnering with institutional investors, public sector sponsors, and Indigenous partners to deliver capital solutions aligned with Ontario’s infrastructure objectives.
Since joining BOF in 2024, Faisal has played a central role in building the fund’s LTC investment portfolio, supporting the financing of new and redeveloped facilities aimed at increasing capacity, improving asset quality, and enabling long term, sustainable ownership structures.
Previously, Farah held senior roles at the Ontario Financing Authority and Ontario Ministry of Finance, as well as experience in the private and non profit sectors, including investment banking and financial services at HSBC Bank and Rogers Communications.
She holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Columbia University and a B.Comm. from McGill University, and is based in Toronto, Ontario.
