Mark Dager is an experienced director with a strong background in the long-term care sector. A registered practical nurse for 28 years, he currently serves as the Director of Long-Term Care for Oxford County. Mark has a long-standing passion for supporting older adults and improving geriatric care.
He has championed the Family Transition Program in Oxford County, helping residents and their families adjust smoothly to life in long-term care. Mark has also contributed his expertise on numerous boards and committees, including Advanced Gerontological Education (AGE), AdvantAGE Ontario, the Ministry of Long-Term Care Task Force, and Behavioural Supports Ontario.
His dedication to high-quality care has been recognized through several honours, including Innovator of the Year from the Change Foundation (2020) and Valedictorian of the Administrator Leadership Program for Long-Term Care (Class of 2019).
