Allyson Nowell, RN, MSc, CON(C) is a Strategy Consultant with the College of Nurses of Ontario where she supports the development and revision of nursing practice standards. She has held previous roles as a Senior Professional Practice Lead, Advanced Practice Nurse/Clinical Nurse Specialist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Allyson was a Regional Co Lead in Palliative Care with Ontario Health where she led a 3 year initiative supporting Long Term Care Homes in Toronto. Allyson is currently enrolled in her PhD at York University and has worked as a nurse across Canada and in the United Kingdom.
