Johanne Desloges was appointed Vice President, Commercial and Surety Claims at Aviva Canada in January 2025. She leads the national strategy, operations, and financial performance of the claims portfolio, focusing on core insurance principles, improved outcomes, and a high-performance culture. With over 25 years in insurance and law, Johanne joined Aviva in 2003 after a legal career in insurance defence. She has held progressive leadership roles, including Head of Casualty from 2015 to 2021 and Head of GCS Claims from 2021 to 2025. Known for driving innovation and litigation strategy, she has consistently delivered operational excellence and customer-focused results across complex claims environments.
