Sandra Lawson was appointed Assistant Deputy Minister of the Operations Division (LTCOD) at the Ministry of Long-Term Care in October 2025. LTCOD enables optimal safety and quality of life for long-term care residents by empowering the sector to be resilient, accountable, and high performing. Prior to joining MLTC, Sandra served as the ADM of the Fair, Safe and Healthy Workplace Division at the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD). There, she also acted as Executive Director, leading a broader public sector response to COVID-19 safety across Ontario. Before MLITSD, Sandra held roles with the Ministry of the Attorney General, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd.
