Gillian Steeve is a strategic and respected leader with 20 years of experience in the Ontario Public Service. Her diverse background includes work as a professional actor, high school teacher, and arts administrator. She recently worked in the broader public sector in the hospital system, where she helped improve integrated care delivery and led the Integrated COVID Command Centre through the pandemic. Upon returning to the OPS, Gillian became the Assistant Deputy Minister of System Planning and Partnerships in MLTC, leading strategies that support LTC homes in meeting residents’ complex needs and advancing innovative community-based programs to help seniors live independently. Gillian is currently acting as Assistant Deputy Minister of the LTC Capital Development Division and previously served as acting ADM of the Operations Division. She is a sailor and avid reader who enjoys spending time with her children, James and Leah, and her husband, Adam.
