Julie Casaert is the Director, Seniors Services at the Regional Municipality of York. In her current role she is responsible for the oversight of the Region’s long term care homes, adult day programs, psychogeriatric resource consultants, vulnerable seniors’ network, and proposed Plan to Support Seniors. Throughout her 25-year career as a health sector leader, Julie has championed innovative and transformative change within the municipal, not for profit, and for-profit sectors. Her breath of experience within the system includes Community, Long-Term Care, Retirement, and Assisted Living where she has been passionate about supporting and advocating for the health and well-being of residents, clients, staff, and caregivers.
