Dr. Sandy Shamon is Board Director and President with OLTCC. She trained in family medicine and palliative care and is currently the Chief Medical Officer with Schlegel Villages and an Attending Physician at Lakeshore Lodge in Toronto. Dr. Shamon is a Lecturer with the University of Toronto and Adjunct Professor at McMaster University where she continues to be involved in academic research and teaching medical students and residents. In these roles, she strives to ensure that individuals living in LTC can optimize their health outcomes without compromising quality of life.
