Elaine deVries is a Learning and Development Manager with the Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care (CLRI) at the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging. She has a M.Ed. in Distance Education (Athabasca University) and a M.A. in English (University of Toronto). She applies a co-design approach to the design and development of learning resources for the long-term care sector. Past projects include an eLearning series on infection prevention and control, a long-term care orientation eLearning series, and a set of illustrated cleaning checklists for environmental services team members. Outside of work, Elaine enjoys kayaking, cross-country skiing, reading, and playing classical guitar.
