Allison Cooper is a passionate advocate for elder empowerment, dedicated to creating meaningful and enriching experiences for older adults. She spent 16 years in live television production before discovering her true calling of helping elders live their best lives. After working as a Recreation Therapist, Allison joined Christie Gardens in 2016 as an Advocate. Over the past eight years, she has built strong relationships with residents and their families while supporting a team of Care Partners (PSWs) within a diverse, multidisciplinary team. Now serving as the Director of Partnerships and Impact, Allison continues to drive Christie Gardens’ commitment to elder-informed programs, such as the UofT Intergenerational Classroom. She is passionate about fostering innovative collaborations and sharing Christie Gardens’ story to inspire positive change within the sector.
