Robert is a Partner in Torkin Manes LLP’s Litigation Department and Health Law Group. His practice is focused on advocating for, and advising, regulated health professionals. Robert adeptly represents clients in all manner of College proceedings (e.g., complaint and s.75 investigations, mandatory reporting investigations, discipline proceedings, registration matters, and incapacity proceedings), hospital privilege disputes, and matters before the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board and the Health Services Appeal and Review Board.

As a reflection of Robert’s knowledge and extensive experience in this area of law, he has been an elected member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Health Law Executive since 2017 and is past Chair of the Executive. Further, he has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for his work on behalf of regulated health professionals.
