Lynn Munari is a seasoned risk management professional at Extendicare (Canada) Inc., dedicated to advancing resident safety across the organization. With over a decade of experience in long‑term care (LTC), she has held several nursing leadership roles and developed deep expertise in resident safety, incident analysis, and nursing practice standards.
Lynn joined Extendicare in 2021 as an LTC Consultant, supporting homes in strengthening nursing care and incident management processes. She has enhanced her expertise through LEAP (2022), ISMP’s Incident Analysis for LTC program (2022), the OAHNSS Administrator Leadership Program, and a Master of Nursing with a leadership focus.
In 2023, Lynn became the National Resident Safety Lead, driving improvements in safety standards and resident care. In 2025, she advanced to Senior Manager, Risk Management, where she leads strategic initiatives that strengthen organizational safety culture and clinical risk management practices.
