Lauren is currently a Life Enrichment and Volunteer Coordinator at a rural long-term care home which recently completed a major redevelopment. Her career path, which began 17 years ago in Restorative Care, reflects her creativity, dedication and passion for meaningfully engaging residents in day-to-day community life.
She holds a degree in Gerontology and Women’s Studies through Laurentian University and diplomas in Therapeutic Recreation through Georgian College and Public Relations through Cambrian College. She is also a long-time board member with Wheels 4 Wheels, a charity which connects people throughout the region with accessible transit, free of charge.
