Dr. Joshi is a clinical data scientist by training and received his PhD from Purdue University with a focus on biophysics and structural biology. His later training was in the fields of cancer and immunology with an emphasis on pre-clinical and clinical data analysis, including using computer vision algorithms on confocal imagery. He has won the prestigious Outstanding Faculty Mentor for research award from the National Science Foundation.
