In 2019, Abiola co-led a partnership study published in Innovation in Aging titled Better Living through Technology: The Effects of Technology-Mediated Recreation on Long-Term Care Facility Residents' Quality of Life, demonstrating how collaborative, cross-site initiatives and technology mediated programs can enhance residents’ wellbeing. In her role as Vice President of Regional Operations with Sienna Senior Living, she leverages this experience in her operational and multisite leadership, fostering teamwork, driving innovation, achieving performance targets that improve resident outcomes with consistency in strategic oversight.
