Ted Hudson is the Director of Digital Marketing at Schlegel Villages and brings over 20 years of experience in the senior living sector, spanning recreation, engagement, and marketing. Passionate about community building and purposeful storytelling, Ted creates opportunities for older adults to share their lived experiences and wisdom in ways that inspire connection and combat ageism. He is the creative force behind the #ElderWisdom initiative, now celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Green Bench—a symbol of intergenerational dialogue and respect. Ted has led storytelling efforts across platforms, producing the #ElderWisdom: Stories from the Green Bench podcast, coordinating resident-led content, and leveraging social media to elevate senior voices across Ontario and beyond. With a belief that every senior has wisdom to share, Ted’s work continues to highlight the importance of relationships, listening, and creating space for meaningful conversation in both retirement and long-term care communities.
