Doug Robinson is a resident at The Village of Sandalwood Park and a long‑time champion of the #ElderWisdom Green Bench initiative, a movement dedicated to combating ageism through intergenerational conversation and storytelling. Deeply committed to fostering meaningful connections, Doug has been actively involved in Green Bench community visits, public storytelling events, and the widely appreciated Stories from the Green Bench podcast—where he served as co‑host for a year alongside Erin Davis. As part of the 10th anniversary celebration of #ElderWisdom, Doug travelled to England, the place where he grew up, to continue sharing stories of home, identity, and belonging across generations. His passion for dialogue and connection continues to inspire people of all ages.
