Lian Carroll, RD, brings over 15 years of extensive experience as a Clinical Dietitian and Food Service Manager in Long-term Care. As the National Nutrition Care Expert for Sienna Senior Living, Lian is dedicated to the development and advocacy of best practices to ensure that residents receive the best possible nutrition care for optimal quality of life. She is a dedicated member of the Dietitians of Canada Gerontology Network.
Lian recognizes and values the projected growth within the sector, and as such, has proactively established partnerships with numerous Canadian Universities. These collaborations aim to secure meaningful placement opportunities for dietetic students, providing them with invaluable hands-on experience in the field. Lian also serves as an Assessor for the College of Dietitians Quality Assurance Board. In this role, she plays a pivotal part in ensuring the ongoing competence and safety of nutrition services for all individuals across the province.
In her spare time, Lian finds joy in outdoor activities, whether it's going for runs with her Australian Shepherd, exploring the open road on her motorcycle, or simply cherishing moments with her family.
