Katrina completed her undergraduate program at Ryerson University, now known as Toronto Metropolitan University. She has completed her Masters of Applied Nutrition at the University of Guelph, as well as a Leadership Program with the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.

Katrina started her career in the food industry developing flavours and food ingredients. During her internship, she enjoyed her clinical placement in Long-Term Care the most. In her current role as the Seasons Care Corporate Dietitian for several Long-Term Care Homes in Ontario, Katrina supports and mentors Consulting Registered Dietitians and provides nutrition and food service related education to interdisciplinary teams. She continues to champion for a liberalized approach and for quality of life when contributing to programs and policies that affect 3500+ residents across the province of Ontario.

To date, Katrina has had a colourful career as a Registered Dietitian. In 2021, Katrina was the recipient of the Dietitians of Canada Member Recognition Award in the Leadership Category. In 2022, she was the recipient of Marie Taylor Award for Excellence in Long Term Care, Seniors Nutrition and Dietetic Practice.

Katrina loves a quiet afternoon tea - sipping on earl grey, enjoying dainty, delicate sweets and savouries. After all, she is a big believer that we enjoy our food with our eyes first. She has many afternoon tea venues and is always looking for recommendations.
